Thise one of the best books that I have ever read. Author, Eric Metaxas, not only introduces us to the astounding Dietrich Bonhoeffer, but puts us in the middle of his world. I have come to love the world of Bonhoeffer and appreciate Bonhoeffer’s passion for Germany, the church, and life.

The pastor’s life is an incredible inspiration. His theological brilliance, artistic passion, vibrant and unconventional faith, and courage in the face of evil make him a new hero to me.
